WW2 Remake(the best scenario)

George Bush AKA Witch-doctor and I are attempting to restore the version of WW2 that was deleted by our resident community nutcase.

It is called "Old WWII Remake V1". I've promoted it. There's still work to be done to restore it to its' original standard. We are mostly going off old videos and memory to restore all the events and units. I'm using "we" but 99% of the work is being done by WD so a big big thanks to him.

If you remember any events/units that haven't been included in the map please mail myself or witch so we can add them. Balance suggestions are welcome too. The goal is to get a good level of balance while remaining as historically accurate as possible.

Glad to hear it, all I really remember from the old days was Germany wasn't as stupidly overpowered as Unleashed made it to be in his remake. After all that was the only country he played. Best of luck with the map/scenario !

I know you already know, but China needs balancing vs Japan. China used to have 30 fighter event units in southwest at turn 5. And around 20 infantries in northern part.

Both Usa had special air trans event t1(I don't remember the capacity but it was 100% more than 6/8)

I added the missing b-29 superfortress unit. USA Atlantic starts with 10 in Washington and 5 In New York. I double checked my ww2 video and made sure this was correct.

I remember USSR had trucks so he could transfer the units from siberia volga etc faster

-USSR had turn 1 event infantry in vladivostok. I don't remember how much however, I believe the total amount of troops there was 21 which makes it 11.
-USSR had a special unit called ''Snipers'', these were ground stealth with 4-5 stats and a +2 defense vs infantry and waffen ss (I am not sure what the stats were but I believe this is accurate)
-Germany started with an event wall around Leningrad, the wall constituted of a total 6 Tiger I tanks, with pairs of 2.
-The French had a special unit, the French Foreign Legion which was was +1 attack +10 cost compared to normal infantry.
-To add onto Waffel's Chinese (Flying Tigers) 3 cities of 10 reinf, these had a capital that was outside of the map.
-USA Pacific started with an event in mainland China, I believe it was 10 b17s.

I think there were trenches between Normandy and New York and USA had a nuke silo around Montana

U could def Vladivostok with like 75 units, Manchuria could att with like 110+

Also trucks in Volda, Ural, Siberia are needed to make SSSR less boring. Lastest versions had them. 2 trucks with 10 capacity in these 3 regions caps.

I think you are right about the 50 troops yeah. I think it was not a port though so ussr couldnt rush Japan.

Y Vladivostk wasnt port, but from Nahodka u could att Japan.

Sappers and mines too pls. French foreign legion was used by both frances i think but might be wrong. It was 100% used by Vichy.

I am a few days late but empi referenced it earlier with respect to India: most rivers did not exist in the original ult ww2. Unleashed added a ton of rivers and the screenshots posted are from his version. Doesn't matter to me but just be aware that a lot of the OG stuff was before there were rivers (like in the screenshot there is a river running from Japanese China to Chinese China which changes the map due to transports)
