Longer Casual games

Now limit is 48 h, but some of us have real life obligations, net problems etc, so i would like to be able to create game where turn can be played in week or even in month, for some of us 48h sometimes isnt enough, i dont think it would be major issue to change that or wouuld much affect atwar in any way

A year has 12 months, do you plan on playing a single game in 3-5 years?

A year has 52 weeks aprox. Do you plan on playing a single game for half or an entire year?

A year has 52 weeks aprox. Do you plan on playing a single game for half or an entire year?

That's assuming that it takes someone the whole time to complete each turn, which is highly unlikely if they have a week or month. This idea just guarantees that everyone has enough time to complete their turn even if they can rarely play.

Well, one has to always think of the worst scenario possible in order to realise if the idea is worth or not... would you mind waiting a month for a guy that has simply forgot about the game or doesn't care anymore about it?

That is why it's an option. I can see why it would be a problem under those circumstances, but imagine if someone wanted to make a private casual game with their long-distance friends and none of them can play very often. This idea would be very useful as an option under these circumstances. It's like offering 12 minute turns in quick games. Very few people would ever play a 12 minute turn game but it is useful under specific circumstances and there is no reason not to include it as an option.

Just give the option and players will chose whether to play it or not.

And make servers supper laggy due to 5000 games going on at once.

1 RP game with 1000s of units and 100s of moves makes server more laggy than 100s of "simple" WG games.
