I also tought this is about frogs ...my vision was blurry.
I said this already once ...what kind of fog of war are you guys talking about?
• black fog of war? - this is cool for ancient world games, or age of discovery even (would be cool if map makers could customize fog of war for undiscovered areas)
• far units not visible fog of war? - well far units count is not visible now, maybe it would be cool that far far units cant be seen aswell
you can see what im saying in this pic
is that a picture of age of empire game?
Yes, yes it is ...i played all of them, age of mythology too. As you can see there is black unexplored area and foggy area where troops are not visible.

If a fog of war is implemented, the game will also need to hide battles outside of your viewing range from your overview/battle screen.
I personally play a lot of roleplay games, and I feel that a limited fog of war, where land is visible, but units/battles are not, will be very effective.

W/o fog everybody will run to rp, cuz people will make secret alliance, because you want to win cause you know where everyone is

Dude, this sounds just like Warlight. Do you really want atWar to be sued?
this is diffrent from warlight.you have free troop movement . unlike being stuck in a border or you can move your unit's view range. Hell, battle dawn is similar to at-war, its just the casual version of at-war. why haven't at-war been sued? at-war's fog will be diffrent from warlight. warlight's fog is based on a piece of land, that is adjacent to its border, or its all fog(heavy fog) or no fog. at-war is like a Light fog version of warlight, why haven't at-war been sued? At-war's fog is based on the unit's view range

Battle Dawn is a game where you save up multiple resources, and win by capturing all of the relics and keeping them until the game ends. There is also another way, but I forgot.
BD doesn't have teams, scenarios or strats in like in AW. In AW you don't build certain buildings to increase your output, you simply waste you units or capture countries/cities.
In BD, you have Ion cannons. You can make something like that in AW, but it's not 1-time use like it is in BD.
BD's recuitment system is different. In BD you join servers, but in AW you have games within a server.

I disagree, AW has free movement but in BD you have to move your squads to either a outpost or a allied city (or a neutral/hostile one, to conquer). You can get around this by spamming outposts, but it costs you.
Btw, moving in BD also costs oil.
