AI likes hard to make (and probably is).
But if you and others make 57-83 messages about AI, they maybe add it (like custom maps).

Bots in AW sounds bad to me, every Ai has its weakness, once it is found some player will abuse it and grind SP, where they must find a grind partner now.

I think if you were to add the bot into the tutorial mode in the game, that would prevent SP farming.

NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO!!!
Afterwind is, and always will be a MULTIPLAYER GAME!
Adding a bot would totally ruin the gameplay/whole idea
Besides, AIs are too easy to beat anyway. If you added a bot in the tutorial that would be awesome.

Didn't I already say they could add a bot to the tutorial instead of the original suggestion? <.<

I think its a good idea avatar! You can simply prevent SP-farming with this, by just giving 10% of the normal SP, when playing against a CPU (just like you get now, playing against neutrals). And maybe 20% against a harder CPU.
However; i don't know if this is technically possible to implement, and if it is, how much work it costs. If its a lot of work, then i prever other idea's to implement first

It is a lot of work. We were thinking about it on quite a few occasions - it would be a nice thing to have, but programming a competent AI for Afterwind would be really hard. Especially all the pathfinding (which wouldn't be a problem if the game was grid-based).

I have a solution for the pathway stuff. Just make millions of moves and have the system record it then implement them.

Or maybe not have this because this is complicated and useless.

AI would be super useful in the game because when u start a game a lot of times the game doesn't fill up bots can replace them and even if the game is full players leave in beginning turns and bots would take there place
