Notifications suggestion/bug

I'm not sure how the notifications was intended but this seems to be some sort of bug, if not please listen to my suggestion:

Currently when you get a few notifications, and click on the respective button, the green circle with the number disappears - kinda like you've seen all notifications. Well that's true, but not true. What if I click on one of those notifications and I write a long post and forget about the other ones and only notice later and have no time to respond to any of them?

Kinda like what we have with PM's, I would need to click on them individually. Obviously there would be exceptions to some, like if a post was deleted or if you bought premiums, nothing to click then.

true... i just open a new tab for each notification so i don't forget them all.
once you've opened the notification page, it assumes you've been notified. i doubt changing this is high up on the list.

Yup, I also do that.

Stryko's idea is nice however... How about if everytime you click in the quote link the game opens it in a new tab? So I can save one click! (Milennians will understand).

Yes, totally agree!

A 'mark as read' & 'unmark' would also be nice.
