Among other reasons, limited time being one of them . The main reason I left atwar is because of the ability of players to change game settings and one of the reasons I never got premium when I was here initially. Came back very recently and tried to enjoy a game and guess what ?In the middle of the war once again the game settings were CHANGED! Totally changing the game dynamics and after working for several hrs in a world game and with victory looking ever more likely guess what , another victim to change in settings. Think it is time to leave this game permanently ! Have fun folks ! How can a game be fun when ppl can just change the settings whenever they want.

In beta days, hosts could actually simply change the game rules, but now it's based on voting, so I don't see where the problem is.

I am certain a player as strong as yourself would have been in situations before when there are many opponents fighting against you alone , so imagine in a world game and the settings are just changed to 1 min and you are fighting 3 or 4 opponents ? From a game that started with 4 min or 5 min settings which was actually reasonable. That voting thing is super flawed !- "hey guys he is killing us lets just change the time setting" . The more devious one is when a certain no of turns have passed and forces are stretched on multiple fronts and boom the joining date changes and fully funded and full of rein new opponents appear out of nowhere !Game over !

All have been done to me mate, and to change the settings they wouldve had to either have your permission, or the permission of one of your allies as thats how the system works

solution: only ally those you know an trust, or dont ally at all

I hate when people say that

Responding to lachora! I was not playing with any allies so no it was not my ally and of course I did not approve ! You are wrong on that count ! They can just change it if they have enough majority !

It's a problem in games where you are a minority facing a bunch of allied players. The players just un-ally, change the settings (w majority), and then re-ally. They can use this to change the time, allow late-joiners, max alliances, etc.

The only real solution I see is to play team games. That or maybe report this behavior to mods...

It would be nice if you could make certain settings unalterable.

I understand your position trinig. It happened to me multiple times and it is, in fact, annoying. I thought that rule had been changed since the last time I was fighting a 4v1 and the players tried to vote to turn the quick game into casual they failed since I wasn't accepting the rules.

I wasn't aware of that on the system Grimm said, so it's a problem it really should be discussed, since ally faggers have already too many advantages.

the thing about that is that in real war, new sides, enemies, and friends, can quite suddenly pop up out of nowhere
